Tahlia Edgar-Chalker
Producer, Journalist, Storyteller
I’m a New York–based video producer working across documentary, journalism, social-first video, and campaign storytelling. I create work that connects personal experiences to larger political realities, with a focus on making complex issues feel emotionally immediate and deeply human.
I currently serve as a Producer at the Human Rights Foundation, where I lead multimedia projects across international forums, digital series, podcasts, and social-first video. My work spans full-cycle production, from development and filming through post-production and distribution, while also shaping editorial strategy and platform-native storytelling across HRF’s digital channels. I graduated cum laude from Tulane University with degrees in Digital Media Production and International Development, where I produced and directed award-winning short films centered on film as a tool for social change.
My films and campaigns have been recognized by the Anthem Awards, New York Movie Awards, and IndieX Film Fest, and advocacy videos I’ve produced have been used in United Nations communications and shared internationally to support human rights advocacy efforts.
I believe in storytelling that opens our minds and invites us to see differently, and in the power of a well-told story to shape how the world thinks, listens, and acts.
